About the Journal

Environmental Engineering – Inženjerstvo okoliša is a peer-reviewed journal covering the broad, interdisciplinary field of environmental engineering.It publishes original scientific papers, preliminary communications, review articles and professional papers that present research findings, practical solutions and critical overviews of current issues.
Topics include geotechnical engineering and geoinengineering, water resources management, technical aspects of environmental protection, remote sensing, ecology, sustainable construction, waste management and other related engineering areas.
In 2019 the journal adopted its current title, Environmental Engineering – Inženjerstvo Okoliša, reflecting a stronger international focus. In cooperation with the Croatian DOI Office (the national intermediary with Crossref), it was assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) prefix and has since been published exclusively in English, enhancing its visibility and accessibility to the global scientific community.

The Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering publishes the journal twice a year. Submission implies that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere. Authors are responsible for the content of their papers and for any material protected by copyright. The digital edition is free and open online.
